Standard tentacle terrors. Annoyingly will always see invis, complicating any escapes from the Dain's Pit. They have an instant knockback ability that can be used at any range and a short cast lifetap, though despite having these abilities they don't have a mana pool, and as such Theft of Thought doesn't work. Some level variance I believe; a rather tough one resisted Trepidation 7x, but on a weaker one it landed without fail. ''"During my time spent in the pit, 15 slain Frost Spikes yielded 15 Peridots.
